Last time when I visit Kerala, I noticed that every neighbouring houses have a transparent bottle of diluted Ujala fluid near courtyard. When I enquire about this; the people are very sure that, after this set up there were neither dog nor bandicoot had entered their houses or even in the courtyard.
Believe it or not try it yourself. (Refer pictures)
1. Take a transparent plastic bottle full of water.
2. Add 1 or 2 drops of Ujala to it.
3. Tighten bottle and keep at the edges of courtyard.
4. Do not place much more bottles around courtyard
